As we all know, the heart is a very important organ. As an individual, you need to make sure that you undergo regular check up specially to this vital organ. It is very essential that it works perfectly so that it can perform the essential task that is needed for the body. An electrocardiogram is a good diagnostic tool to check it and its rhythms. Let us take a deeper look on what CA is.

Normally, our heart beats steadily. You might already familiar about that. This rhythmic pattern it performs is caused by the flowing of blood through the chambers. If you put your palm in your chest you will feel how it beats.

In a person with CA, the normal beating of the heart is not followed. This means it beats a little different that what it used to. It may beat a little bit slow, or quick, or in a way that it is extremely bizarre. There are some circumstances that it skips a beat or a lot of spacing between bets which is very strange.

If it beats to slow, it is called as bradycardia. This is very common among athletes who adapt it for activities that are hard. On the other hand, if it is too rapid it is known as tachycardia. These are the the most common types of CAs.

A rare type of CA is known as fibrillation. Our heart usually contracts to pump blood out, in an individual who has fibrillation, instead of the normal contraction it quivers. This is very deadly specially if not treated promptly.

The common cause of arrhythmia are stress, congenital heart disease, use of illegal drugs and aging. This can be prevented by constantly conditioning your vital organs by exercising and proper diet. Do not be alarmed if your it beats a little bit crazy if you are under stress, it is just a normal stress reaction. Some things that affects beating, is palpitations. Keep in mind that this is not related to stress so it would be better if you consult a doctor so they can give you a good overview on what causes it.

We only have one life, and it is very important to make the most out of it. To do so, you have to live a bit longer to experience what you want to experience. Keep a healthy lifestyle. Stress is inevitable, just make sure you handle it carefully so that it would not create complications later on.
